About
I'm Nick Clark, an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector (CPI)® and fully insured home inspector serving Fredericton and Oromocto. I have a background in construction and renovation and because of that, I've developed a keen eye for detail of how homes age over time and what to look out for.
I like problem-solving. I like the part where a client says, "I would never have spotted that." It reminds me that this work matters. Every inspection protects someone's hard-earned investment, and I take that responsibility seriously.
How It All Started
A few years ago, a friend called me after buying his first home, and he sounded as if he was at his wits' end. The excitement had worn off, and the heavy rain had flooded the basement. The furnace had failed, and some of the wiring looked unsafe.
I helped him sort out what I could, but the damage had been done. The experience of it stuck with me, and it made me realise how many people take the same risk without even realising it. That was the light bulb moment in my head that made me start StructSure Home Inspections.
What Motivates Me
Buying a home is meant to be a happy moment. I've watched that joy disappear when hidden issues come up. That's why I make sure my clients are protected from the start.
I have never liked scare tactics or sugarcoating. I prefer honest, straightforward answers. That is what gives people confidence to move forward.
What You Can Expect
Every inspection concludes with a clear and concise report. I include photos, explanations, and straightforward advice on what to do next. Some clients walk away ready to make a purchase. Others use the report to negotiate or plan repairs. Either way, you end up with facts, not surprises.
If you are getting ready to buy, I am ready to help you do it with confidence and a clear picture of what lies ahead.
